biography HMB (acronym for "Héber Marques Band”) is a Portuguese soul and funk band, active since 2007. It consists of Héber Marques (vocalist), Fred Martinho (guitarist), Daniel Lima (keyboardist), Joel Silva (drummer) and Joel Xavier (bassist). All songs released by the band are sung in Portuguese. The most famous song by the band HMB is “O Amor é Assim” which was released in 2014 and is part of the album “Sente”. The song was a success in Portugal and Brazil. HMB is a Portuguese soul and funk band. The band also moves in the worlds of R&B and pop music. The band collaborated with Pedro Abrunhosa on the song “A Chapa Tá Quente” which was released in 2022. Héber Marques was also the lyricist and co-composer of the songs “Volta” and “Por Ti Eu Quero”, from Rita Guerra's new album. The band’s most recent song “A Chapa Tá Quente” was released in 2022. The band has already performed in countries such as Angola, Brazil and Cape Verde.
