Badoxa

biography Badoxa is a Portuguese musician who was born in Portimão in 1992, son of a Cape Verdean father and an Angolan mother, he started singing since he was a child, influenced by African and Latin music. Badoxa is a musician who mixes rhythms and melodies with a soft and sensual voice, being considered one of the references of Portuguese-speaking music. In 2009, he released his first single, “Controla”, which became a hit on the dance floor and on the radio. Since then, Badoxa has released several albums and singles, such as “Minhas Raízes” (2011), “Memórias” (2014), “Me Toca” (2016), “Carinha Laroca” (2017) and “Minha Mulher” (2018). Badoxa is one of the most popular artists in the kizomba genre, having won over fans in Portugal and Portuguese-speaking African countries. He also works as a music producer, having worked with artists such as Landrick, Yasmine, G-Amado and Rui Orlando.
