biography Bárbara Sofia Holanda Bandeira, known as Bárbara Bandeira, is a Portuguese pop singer who was born in Azeitão on June 23, 2001. She is the daughter of singer Rui Bandeira, who represented Portugal in the 1999 Eurovision Song Contest. Bárbara Bandeira began her musical career at the age of nine, participating in TVI's Uma Canção para Ti program. In 2012, he recorded the song “Tu És Parte de Mim” with his father and in 2014, he competed on The Voice Kids, joining Anselmo Ralph1's team. From then on, he gained popularity on social media, especially on Instagram, where he has more than a million followers. In 2015, he released his first single, “Crazy”, which was a success on digital platforms. In 2017, he released the single “A Última Carta”, which was part of the soundtrack of the SIC soap opera Espelho d’Água. That same year, he received the Golden Globe for Newcomer of the Year.
