Biography
biography Marisa Liz, formerly known as Marisa Pinto, is a Portuguese singer born in Lisbon on October 22, 1982. She became known as the lead singer of the band Amor Electro, which she has been a member of since 2010. Marisa began her musical career in children's bands such as Popeline and Onda Choc. In 2002, he performed the Portuguese adaptation of the song from the Disney Channel series Kim Possible. Between 2003 and 2009, Marisa was part of Donna Maria, a band with Miguel Ângelo Majer and Ricardo Santos that she would leave to pursue a solo career. In 2010, she appeared at the SIC Christmas Gala with her new group Amor Electro and it was at this event that the band presented the single “A Máquina (Acordou)”, which became one of the biggest hits in Portuguese music in 2011. Marisa also participated in Júlio Pereira's album released in 2010, Graffiti, which also features names such as Sara Tavares, Dulce Pontes, Manuela Azevedo or Maria João. 2019, together with Aurea he formed the Elas project. In 2022, he launched his solo career with the song “Guerra Nuclear”, an unreleased song by António Variações, which was produced by Moullinex. Marisa Liz has already won several musical awards in Portugal. She was the winning mentor of The Voice Portugal in 2017 and 2021 with competitors Tomás Adrião and Fernando Daniel, respectively, where she has participated since 2014 as a mentor.
